DIDACTIC RESOURCES

 

CLASSROOMS

ICB has 30 rooms for theoretical lessons (with a capacity that ranges from 30 to 100 each), the vast majority equipped with data show, computer and microphone system and headphones, distributed in the 4 buildings. In addition there are:

  • In Biomedical Building I, three rooms with microscopes and magnifying glasses and computers with a total capacity for 270 students, a room equipped for experiments with workbenches and a sink, with a capacity for 70 students;
  • In Biomedical Building II, three experimentation rooms with workbenches, sinks and microscopes with a capacity for 40 students each;
  • In Biomedical Building IV a Multimedia Room (see more below) and an experimentation room with workbenches and sinks.

LIBRARY

Located in Biomedical Building I, on the 1st floor, it is open to the public in general, with free access for reference purposes. LIBRARY OF ICB/USP

STUDENT STUDY ROOM

At ICB there is a Student Study Room implemented by USP’s Pro-Student Program. Undergraduate students can use the computers to type up their work, to perform research on the Internet and other academic activities. STUDENT STUDY ROOM

MULTIMEDIA ROOMS

ICB has 3 multimedia rooms in Biomedical Building IV, intended for teaching. MULTIMEDIA ROOMS

VIDEOCONFERENCING

Videoconferencing can be considered a new tool to allow fast exchange of documents, information and images at a distance. VIDEOCONFERENCING
